Vitriolic.USA Down To One
@ Scene news channel

When the new Vitriolic.USA side was announced not long ago there were high hopes the team attending some European events, this it seems, will not be happening as the team are dropped by Vitriolic.

The team was formed on the remnants of the old San Francisco OPTX side that got to the final of the second season of the CGS and contained 5 all star names from the American source scene. Yet it seems some of the team struggled for motivation, with little or no competition in the US at the moment and other things going on in their lives. Vitriolic have taken the step to drop all but one of the team and rebuild from the ground up.

Vitriolic have assured us that they will be taking on a new team in the near future with an announcement coming once ESEA finishes. It just seems that the wait to see a team cross the Atlantic to compete has been put on hold for now.

Representative from Vitriolic, Felix "felix" Morgan had the following to say:

Unfortunately we have to announce today the separation of our USA Counter-Strike: Source squad from the organisation. After some questionable motivation from certain players, failure to attend to matches in ESEA, inter-personal issues, and more roster changes than deemed acceptable, we have decided it is time to cut our losses. This however does not mark the end of Vitriolic's involvement in the US scene, and we are looking positively towards the future, as Grant "Griff" Hall will remain a part of the organisation. Grant will play an integral part of our ongoing developments, and will be looking to rebuild the team with a new lineup in the future.

There are no hard feelings from the organisation, and we wish the rest of the team the best of luck in their future endeavours.

Vitriolic.USA was:

Yazan 'clowN' Ammari
Sam 'devour' Chamma
Grant 'Griff' Hall
Ronald 'Rambo' Kim
Laurent 'Warmach1ne' Keoula

Vitriolic.USA is now:

Grant 'Griff' Hall

(Vitriolic)
