Reason Gaming are the latest COD4 team to have revised their roster and come out of activity pending the November release of MW2.
Joining the team are Daniel "SoCLoN" Perez O'Connor and Ryan "duffer" Duffy, previously of Dignitas and ButtonBashers respectively. The move comes not long after it was announced that SoCLoN had been released from his contractual obligation to Dignitas. The team will be looking to make some waves at the upcoming i38 competition.
Tim "revoltz" Denton made the following statement on the Reason Gaming site:
Things didn't really go as well as expected at the end of last season, with a bit of luck on our side and/or better preparation things could've gone way differently but it wasn't to be. Changes had to be made and with Jyri deciding to step down then the logical choice for the team was a UK based line-up over another EU one.
Both Danny and Duffer were straight forward choices to fill the final two positions after the chaotic spin that happened in Team Dignitas last month. They are experienced players who've been to numerous European events and really need no introduction. Best of all we get on great with each other outside of the game unlike some other teams - which people forget is the most important thing.
I'd like to thank Reason, and especially Sapphire and Razer for their continued support. Bring on Newbury.
Ryan "duffer" Duffy also said how pleased he was with the move:
I am really looking forward to playing with this team, the "D and D" combo is reunited and ready to dominate the scene again. I feel we have the perfect mix of play styles in this lineup and I can't wait to get started at i38. I would like to thank the Real D as well as TosspoT, Pii and ButtonBashers for the past few months and my time spent with them.
