Following a punishing schedule, with games coming thick and fast, the SLAP #19 CS:S tournament has come to a close.
The final was contested by the UK's Team Dignitas, at their first competitive event as a team, and the Swedish line-up representing Vitriolic Gaming.
After a close match on de_inferno, the second map of de_tuscan proved to be a little more one sided and Team Dignitas romped home to a convincing victory. While the Swedes may be disappointed with not winning the event, they can console themselves with the fact that they improved on their finish at their previous LAN and looked a worthy opponent for a Dignitas line-up that looked resurgent.
Credit must also go to The Imperial who finished third after an impressive tournament, one that not only established their place as Denamrk's number one team, but also gave a lot of food for thought in terms of where they belong in Europe's elite teams. Although the tournament is over be sure to check Cadred tomorrow when we will have a round up of the event and the voting for the MVP of the tournament.
The final standings are:

Team Dignitas
(€4,000)

Vitriolic Gaming
(€2,000)
