The community run a CoD4 fun tournament

With the MW2 tournament not working as well as planned, with 25% of the teams being kicked out. But now there is a chance for the players to play some CoD4.

The community have decided that they are going to run a fun tournament, with up to 32 teams in a double elimination bracket. With the leadership of the Element players, the community has decided to put £25 per team into a prize pot that will go to the winner.

Though this prize money is not backed by Multiplay, it should allow this fun tournament to be played in a more competitive light as there could potentially be more prize at stake here than there was in the Activision MW2 tournament. Cadred.org will be providing coverage of the tournament, and so will Tek9 so make sure you stay tuned.

Update:

All of the money collected will go to first place paid out straight after the tournament. However the 2nd place team will received 5 mousemats thanks to Zowie Gear who are sponsoring the 2nd place.
