Here's the summary of the coverage that Cadred provided for the World Cyber Games 2009.

The time difference has been a considerable obstacle, but fortunately our "night service" worked perfectly, thanks to an amazing Jamie, who updated tables and fixtures and provided reports from the most interesting matches.

The event went as expected, with fnatic, AGAiN and mTw taking the first three places, however there was still room for surprises and exciting matches, as in every big event like this.
In the end the Poles won this and they're now the only team in the world with two WCG titles in Counter-Strike 1.6.

Undoubtedly this is one of the most successful lineups in the history of cs, as they have also won two ESWC's, amongst many other trophies. We'll keep you up to date about the future of these guys, who hopefully will find an organization able to support them soon.
