After a fast and furious weekend of action and upsets the two teams playing for the the majority share of the £4,000 prize fund have been decided.

Reason gaming are going into their 5th i-series final in a row with the upper hand as they cruised through the elimination stages undefeated, overcoming AMDERS, TLR, Dignitas - in what was one of the best matches of all time - and their opponents for the grand final. All bets will be on them to retain their title as the kings of i-series as they only need to take one map to win, the mental boost of already beating their opponents earlier in the tournament will also be a big factor in the final.

I spoke to Marek '.PhP' Kadek about the final.

I just think that we will win, we have already beaten them once comfortably. But you never know, they are a good team as you saw when they made that comeback against Dignitas. They are a good team and each of them are very good players however I feel we are better both aim wise and tactic wise.

The other half of the final 2 is none other than PowerGaming, they have come through the tougher bracket as they had to fight their way past Spacepandas, Infused, Reason Gaming, fnatic, GLG and Dignitas to reach the final. They will be on a high after their enthralling win over Dignitas in which they came back from a 12-3 deficit to win the game 16-14. They will be hungry to win this event at their first attempt and Reason Gaming may just face the backlash as Power will want to prove their loss to Reason earlier was a fluke.

George 'hudzG' Hoskins had the following to say about it:

I think when we played Reason before we got a bit unlucky with the map, no disrespect to Reason they locked us down and closed out the game but we really have nothing on Train, no strats, nothing. As long as they don't pick train the final will be a great game. We've already did what we came here to do so we will just take it as it comes. We've got to the final of our first event and we've beaten dignitas which is what we wanted to do. We have dreamhack coming up in a couple of weeks too so even if we come away second we have another chance at Dreamhack, we're going to go into it looking forward to it, and we'll see what happens.
