As the CS:S calendar slowly draws to a close one of the last notable events will be the French MAXLAN 2009. While not as well known as its local counterpart, LAN79, it has continued to grow steadily and has attracted some top teams from Europe this time around.
Cadred will not be on site at the event but will be offering you remote coverage over the course of the weekend. We will keep you up to date on all the scores and STV IPs as and when they are made available, keep you up to date with any big stories as they unfold, as well as featuring some interviews from some of the players in attendance and we will follow it right through to the finals.
The schedule has been announced and players and teams set-up this evening, with the first games due to take place Saturday morning at 10:30 GMT. The schedule will be strictly adhered to throughout the competition and any delays will be dealt with by the tournament administrators.
As it says on the MAXLAN website:
Please take note of the planning, which will be respected because we must finish the tournament Sunday at 16:00 since many team have to take a plane. We will be uncompromising on the delays.
