K23 have today announced major roster changes. Following their 5th-8th place finish at the WCG the team has dispensed with three of its home grown players, and recruited three Russians.

The Russians in question are Dmitriy "hooch" Bogdanov and Roman "ROMJkE" Makarov of virtus.pro fame, and Johan "F_1N" Kochugov of CMAX.gg. Making way for them are the retiring Alexandr "beAST" Yakovlev, plus Rustem "mou" Tlepov and Anvar "Anv1k" Nassyrov, who have simply been removed.

Following the announcement of the new k23 lineup, virtus.pro, having been left with two players, have announced their disbandment. Aleksey "LeX" Kolesnikov and Nikita "Dio" Trifonov have called it a day, although leX has hinted he could return in the near future with CMAX.gg.

For the first time ever, the Kazakh team has a majority of Russian players within the ranks. Hopes are high that the Moscow-based, former-USSR team can push on and become a true powerhouse of world cs. Cadred wishes them luck in doing so.
