The fifth season of the EMS is now entering the business end of the tournament as the teams who have qualified for the elimination stage have been decided.

The first set of matches got underway on Sunday evening with no major shocks occurring. Team Dignitas came through a tough match with Czech cracks team Burning!, winning 2 maps to 1 overall. Joining them in the next stage will be team Alternate and Team Thermaltake who overcame Hoorai.Xilence and PinCho respectively. Power Gaming won their first match againt dRu 2 maps to 0 but the French team had noticed an Aequitas file missing from one of the Power players, the match now has to be replayed tonight at 9pm.

Tonight also see's team Radio - currently flying high in the invite division of ESEA - take on Team Thermaltake in the second round of elimination matches. It will be a tough game for the Danes but one they should make it through if they show the class they have done in previous weeks matches. The rest of the weeks games will take place on Sunday evening with some exciting fixtures to keep everyone watching.
