The hosting company DSRack have announced that they will now be running their own series of LAN events, the first of which will take place just outside of Copenhagen thisFebruary.

It is another promising development in the Danish CS:S scene that continued to make forward strides throughout 2009. Although the first event has been played as being aimed more at domestic teams, it has been reported that the likelihood of bigger events in the future is high.

The information regarding the event is as follows:

Date: 19th - 21st February

Location: 25 km north of Copenhagen

Price: DKK 250 per participant with discounts for an entire team (DKK 1000 or €135)

Participants: 250 maximum

Prizes:will be in the region of DKK 35,000 / €4,700 in cash and hardware

As the LAN is a new development there is currently no sign-up website but one is expected to arrive soon and when it does we shall update this post accordingly. Tickets have already gone on sale.
