Cadred Staff Changes
@ Scene news channel

We have made some internal changes to our staff structure which has directly affected those managing the day to day running of Cadred, so now is as good a time as any to let you all know what’s happening. The changes are effective immediately.

Firstly, following some excellent work over the last 18 months, Corin Cole is moving across to head up our new Projects department and will thus leave Cadred after almost 3 years of stellar service to the site and its community. It is not however the last you will see of Mr Cole as his new role will fulfil many of the objectives that Heaven Media have in 2010 and beyond, in particular around event management.

Joining Corin will be Simon Bidwell who takes up the new role of Project Assistant and will work in Corin’s new department.

Here at Cadred, we also have some changes with the first being that Tom “DuRuS” Nevill is promoted to Editor in Chief of Cadred. Tom will assume all of Corin’s old responsibilities here at Cadred, responsible for the site, content and coverage overall. Richard “Dr.Gonzo” will continue with us as Editor, whilst also taking up two new positions within Heaven Media providing our sister site Gaming Heaven with regular mainstream gaming news on a daily basis and applying his carefully crafted wordsmith to game reviews.

We also welcome Michael “Rickeh” McGhee to the management team at Cadred which forms the “Cadred Trinity” alongside Tom and Richard as our new Coverage Editor.

Finally, Enemy Down and Xray will now be looked after directly by Paul “ReDeYe” Chaloner and further announcements regarding ED, Mixes and Xray will be made in the coming days.

On the changes, Director of eSport Content for Heaven Media Paul Chaloner said “I would like to thank Corin for his excellent, somewhat under-rated work in the last 14 months within my team and say that it was an absolute pleasure working with him (most of the time!) and I am sure you will join me in wishing all of those promoted the very best of luck with their new roles.”
