The ASUS series will be taking place again towards the end of February in Russia. Even in the midst of recession they have still managed to assemble a prize pot of between $25,000 and $30,000 across all games.
Although the format of the tournament hasn't changed from previous events, this time around the games list is slightly different. The competition will take place between 20th - 23rd February and will feature the following games:
Counter-Strike 1.6 5v5 Masters (32 teams) - $10,000.
Counter-Strike 1.6 5v5 (128 teams) – $3,000.
Counter-Strike 1.6 5v5 Female (8 teams) – $1,000.
Counter-Strike: Source 5v5 (32 teams) – $3,000.
DOTA 5v5 (32 teams) – $3,000.
Pro Evolution Soccer 1v1 (128 players) – $2,000.
FIFA 2010 1v1 (128 players) – $2,000.
Quake LIVE! 1v1 (64 players) – $2,000.
The 1.6 Masters tournament has four invited teams - Arbalet UA, UNiTED Russia , forZe and DTS, while all others will go through the preliminaries held in Moscow.
