Late last year an extra LAN event for the "Autumn Calander" was announced. Smack LAN is due to take place next month, and we've got all the updated information regarding the event.

The event will be held at the outpost, situated in the heart of Antwerp, Belgium. It will kick off on Saturday the 13th of March and finish on Sunday. So far only 1 team has signed up and paid to attend, well short of the 16 spaces available, and with only 1 month left before the event time is fast running out to guarantee your place. The cost for the LAN event itself is £350 per team. Up-to 2 managers are also allowed in the game area with the team at any one time.

Tournament Structure:

It will start off with 4 groups of 4 teams to determine the seeds for the elimination section of the tournament, the group stage will be played out on Saturday. This means that all teams at the event will go through to the elimination stage and play a minimum of 5 games (3 in the group stage, two in the elimination). Once the elimination stage is underway it will be done using a BO1 double elimination layout with the upper and lower brackets.
