Some of you will remember Anomaly, perhaps a lot of you will not. They were the best team in Ireland, one of the few to come over from those shores and compete at UK events. When the roster moved on to other things, the Irish scene was largely forgotten about.

The captain of that team, Senan "menengroth" Quinn, was also known for his role as captain of the Irish national team, had spent some time trying to create something similar in YoYoTech, but in truth it never really got going.

After Ireland qualified for the latest ClanBase Nations Cup it seems that this was the catalyst for a new look Anomaly to come together. While it may bear little resemblance to the line-ups of day gone by, Senan is hoping that it can not only be a decent successor, but also surpass the modest achievements of the original line-ups.

He said the following about the new line-up:

Having played extensively with all of these players in the past in Nations Cup games and yoyotech, I can safely say I am very confident of doing well in the future with this lineup. I think all of my team mates are fantastic players and there's nothing nicer than playing with people you get on well with. At present we are looking to attend i39, and hopefully a few more events over the summer.

While the team doesn't feature an exclusively Irish roster this time around, it does include players that have been building a reputation for themselves domestically.
