ESH: Fnatic Clinch Sapphire Challenge
@ Esports Heaven channel

Fnatic and Dignitas faced off in the grand final of the Sapphire Challenge Call of Duty 4 tournament.

Fnatic beat Dignitas over three maps on Thursday to win the Sapphire Challenge in a relatively convincing fashion.

The Swedes, who have recently replaced rivve with zEnith, lost the first map, mp_strike, in overtime but went on to take mp_citystreets in overtime and then sneak out a close win on mp_crash.

A hot topic of discussion has been fnatic's use of silenced Uzi's in the final, a move which some considered to be an insult to their opposition or a sign that they weren't taking the game seriously.

The shoutcasters also suggested that it might be a ploy to keep their strategies secret ahead of the upcoming CIC7 LAN event.

While there is no way of knowing their true reasoning behind this, the fnatic players have defended the use of the uzi on their website, claiming that they chose to use the weapon on merit.

Fnatic displayed an impressive level of teamwork even though they have gone through a recent roster change, showing that they should be in contention for a top placing at CIC7.
