In recent years Cadred has seen the comings and going of some people that have made significant contributions to the site. With a lot of volunteer turnover we don't have time to publicly recognise them all.
However there are those that have written for Cadred that can be deemed to have made their mark on the site in a way that many others don't get to do. The sad news is that today we announce the departure of the longest-serving remaining news writer in the form of Mario "m3nion" Coppola.
After having been part of the Cadred staff since the start of 2008 Mario now has to focus on his studies and will be leaving e-sports behind. Speaking as someone who worked with him for the entirety of his time here he may not have been the most high profile member of staff but he was a real workhorse. He never missed a deadline, was always there to cover the events that we would have missed otherwise and was always on standby if we were undermanned during events. He brought a real professionalism and passion to his role as a volunteer here and was exemplary in his approach.
Everyone involved with Heaven Media and Cadred would like to thank Mario for his significant contribution and wish him all the best for his future endeavours. I hope that our readers will share in this too.
Thanks for everything Mario.
