Heaven Media are looking for volunteers for two of our sites

With all our sites constantly growing, we are on the hunt for new blood to come in and volunteer to work on one of our sites, to push it forward even more. By joining the Heaven Media team you will be involved in a growing company, with the potential to move up within the company.

You will also be entered into our crew reward scheme, to reward your hard work put into the site. We have positions open on two different sites:

Cadred.org

Counter Strike: Source

We are looking for a couple more writers to come and work with our dedicated team of writers to make sure that all CS:S news is up on Cadred as soon as possible. We also need someone who is comfortable with doing coverage of an online or offline event, filling in scores and writing about the games.

People should be:

• Fluent in both written and spoken British English
• Excellent knowledge of the Counter Strike: Source scene
• Available for 3-4 hours a week
• High motivation and dedication
• Able to work in a team
• Experience is a bonus, but not a must

Counter Strike 1.6

We need a team of writers to come in and help push Cadred forward with our 1.6 scene. We have recently had to say goodbye to our old writers, so we are looking for a couple of positions:

• CS 1.6 Editor - in charge of making sure 1.6 news is all out on time. You will speak to the Managers to talk about future content as well as planning coverage for the online and offline events. If possible, the Editor will go with a team to offline events. Experience is required for this position.
• CS Writers - we need people to do our 1.6 scene news and coverage. Below is a list of attributes you should have:
  • Fluent in both written and spoken British English
  • Excellent knowledge of the Counter Strike scene
  • Available for 3-4 hours a week
  • High motivation and dedication
  • Able to work in a team
  • Experience is a bonus, but not a must

Esports Heaven

Esports Heaven are looking to expand their admin team.

Esports Heaven, now a household name in the online competitions world for Counter-Strike Source, Call of Duty 4 and Team Fortress 2 are looking to expand their admin team. We are looking for highly skilled and motivated Counter-Strike 1.6  admins with a strong interest enhancing the level of competitions in the game.

Requirements:

• Fluent in English
• Excellent knowledge of the Counter-Strike 1.6 competitive rules
• Good knowledge of the Counter-Strike 1.6 community
• Minimum 3 nights / week availability
• High motivation and dedication
• Able to work in a team
• Experience a bonus, not a must!
• You are a natural born helper and always wish to help people out

Job Description:

• You will be responsible for maintaining a competitive ruleset
• You will be responsible for planning and scheduling of competitive tournaments
• You will consult with the management team on a frequent basis
• You will run One Night Wonders, hardware and cash tournaments
• You may be brought in to admin offline events
• You will be responsible for administrating tournaments during match days when needed
• You will be required to help out teams and players with questions and problems
• You will be responsible for the resolving of match conflicts

You will be brought on board a dynamic and fast growing project that could lead to future opportunities and you will be able to gain work experience in a true business environment. You will work on a voluntary basis but you will be brought into the Heaven Media incentive scheme where you can earn yourself hardware and other benefits through your continued work efforts.
