Week 3 of the German EPS is upon us and it looks like the big teams won't have it as easy this time round.

Last season was largly unspectacular with very few upsets occuring, the top four spots were held by the same four teams that held them the year before and the LAN finals also played out just like everyone had expected. The fresh blood this season don't seem to like following the script though as with only 3 weeks gone in this 16th season we've begun to see some serious - or near - upsets.

Last week saw Snogard Dragons lose out to KD-Gaming in rather convincing fashion whilst both mTw and team Speedlink had to work hard for their wins over much "weaker" opposition. It's also been a case of same old, same old for bombk - last years whipping boys - as they were pulverised by new boys iNEXOR. They now have 2 defeats in as many matches, both of which were against newly promoted teams.

This week should throw up some more tense matches as we see a lot of the new entrants in the league up against each other. The pick of the matches is Hoorai.Xilence vs KD-Gaming, KD are on a high after their win over Snogard Dragons and Hoorai have had some problems over the past few weeks with the organisation running into trouble, I expect to see Hoorai take it but it is swinging in the balance.
