EPS Benelux Brings In CoD4
@ General coverage channel

The next EPS Benelux season will feature CoD4

The upcoming EPS Benelux season, Season 4, will now have CoD4 added to it. There are currently only two announced games for the EPS Benelux, namely CoD4 and CS 1.6.

This will take a very similar form to the one we have seen in Germany and, in previous seasons, the UK, where teams will fight it out for a place in the top 4. After that they will play in a LAN final game most likely at the WZZRD gaming centre if it is like previous seasons.

Camille Versteeg, the National Head ESL Benelux said the following:

Call of Duty 4 has always been on our wish-list. Today, the community and the admin team made it possible to add it. Although the prize money has not been announced yet, I want to point out that WSquared Media(Benelux) does not have the same budget as Turtle-Entertainment. I hope the community can understand this and show me how great COD4 can be and become. If we are able to grow as a community, we can do the same thing to its prize money.

Dennis Winkel, the Nation Master Admin ESL Benelux also added:

This news is a great step in the right direction for the Call of Duty 4 scene. During the last month we have experienced a rapid growth in activity and competition amongst our Benelux leagues. We clearly noticed that the community is motivated and dedicated to make this happen and we have rewarded this by featuring Call of Duty 4 in our upcoming ESL Pro Series season. The task of the teams now is to keep up their motivation, activity and dedication within the Benelux Call of Duty 4 scene. This is to make sure that it does not come to a one time only appearance of Call of duty 4 in the EPS

If you want to take part in the EPS Benelux then you need to qualify through the ESL Amateur series and more details of the final stages of that will be announced soon. The final two games of the EPS Benelux will be announced soon as well.
