Following their debut event in January of this year, Gamersject have announced the details for a second LAN, due to be held between 9th and 11th April in Zagreb, Croatia.
The relative success of their last event has resulted in the number of tournaments being expanded to include a competition for CS:S and DotA. The prize money for this event looks fairly promising, however, the amount of cash on offer is entirely dependent on the number of paid up attendees.
The signing up fees for the various tournaments vary, with the COD4 tournament costing €150, the CS:S, COD2 and DotA tournaments costing €100, and the PES2010 competition costing a princely €10 to enter.
The prize money for the tournaments is as follows:
COD4
1st Prize: €600 - €1500
2nd Prize: €400 - €750
3rd Prize: €200 - €375
CS:S
1st Prize: €400 - €1200
2nd Prize: €270 - €600
3rd Prize: €135 - €300
COD2
1st Prize: €400 - €1200
2nd Prize: €270 - €600
3rd Prize: €135 - €300
DotA
1st Prize: €400 - €1200
2nd Prize: €270 - €600
3rd Prize: €135 - €300
N.B The range of prize money on offer is dependent on how many teams sign up for each event. The lowest amount applies if 12-15 teams sign up, the highest amount applies if 32 teams sign up. The prize money for the PES2010 tournament is yet to be announced.
