A new Danish team have formed with both CSS and CS 1.6 players featured in the lineup. With players from Online Kingdom, DSRack and the 1.6 clan 'team vd' it's certainly going to be interesting to follow

The team is called Rage, possibly something to do with cajun's rage at DSRack Lan#1, where he sold his monitor and computer after his teams disappointing 9-12th finish but it's unknown if that is the main reason behind the name.

Nevertheless the team consists of two CS:S players in Oliver 'zipenn' Krogh and René 'cajun' Borg. Zipenn has been in his fair share of solid Danish teams in the past, most recently in DSRack where he was kicked after only a few weeks in the team. Cajun recently played in Online Kingdom, a team who showed impressive online results but folded after their first LAN together.

The three former CS 1.6 players played in 'team vd' where a lot of people saw them as promising players. However they have decided to change game because of the "very closed minded 1.6 scene", and because of the need to try something new.

Statement From René 'cajun' Borg given to Danish website XplayN:

We are 4 mates who have played together before and have a fun time doing so when we play. We needed a last player to complete the lineup, whom also needs to fit in socially. We looked around in the community and found zipen who was ready to step right in, we played with him and as expected he fits in perfectly. Our team is focused on friendship and having fun when we play. With that said we are of course playing to win. I would like to say thank you to DSRack and to Noah whom has finally given CS:S a shot.

How the former CS 1.6 players will manage the change of game we will see on Thursday where they will be competing in the DM (Danish Championship) qualification. They will also attend Copenhagen Games which takes place between the 1st-4th of April.
