Epsilon Announce BC2 Roster
@ Scene news channel

Epsilon have very much been one of the talking points of the BC2 scene and after a turbulent few weeks, have finally announced their roster.

The lineup certainly has potential, nearly entirely filled by old Battlefield 2 players, but the team that emerged turned a lot of heads in the early stages of creation. Epsilon BC2 is composed nearly entirely of two teams that didn't exactly see eye-to-eye in the Bf2 scene - the old Epsilon and Power Gaming BF2 lineups, whose exciting ClanBase Open Cup final in 2009 brought drama when the former Swedish captain Kvax tried to win the game on default.

After a live cast at RushTV featuring then Power captain Vorty, Kvax and Epsilon owner Olympus, the two teams finally decided to replay the match which ended in a Power Gaming victory, and the dispute was settled. It is no surprise then that many in the early scene find this new Epsilon team a little bizarre: most noticeable are the omissions of Vorty and P1lote's Power Gaming team mates Born and Jamesey who played BF2 with one another through a number of organisations and a Nations Cup and featured in the original Epsilon trial lineup.

Between them, the players of the newest Epsilon team rack up quite a repertoire in esports and are sure to make their mark one way or another.

Co-Captain Gary "Vorty" Millar had this to say to Cadred.org:

The roster we have right now is very strong and should put us in a good position early on in this game. We added bazzy and jonesey from veritas (2142 scene) to go a long with some of the best BF2 infantry players like stefan, buzz, pilote and leln. Our armour is also very strong with ranjid and silveristov who was nominated best tanker 2009 in BF2, so they bring a load of experience with them. All in all we do have a lot of very skill full and experienced conquest players but like any new team we need the time to gel, at which point I think any team would find it hard to beat us.

Owner of Epsilon Esports, Aris "Olympus" Broumas said this to Cadred.org on the BC2 team:

The history of our team that is identified with the Battlefield series, with the occasion of circulation of continuity of game, we would want to declare our intention to create the best team and in Bad Company 2. We will have a full professional team with monthly salary for each player and money bonus for online competitions and of course LANs. We have our own way to build a team - Epsilon like to do it player by player and we want to include in the team the best players as before. We have not finalized our roster yet: we have some slots open and search for top players.

Epsilon Bad Company 2 are:

Dominic"Pilote" Hennings
Fabian "Ranjid" Imhof
Lars "Leln" Nilsen
Christopher "Jonesey" Jones
Vladimir "Seliverstov" Seliverstov
Andrew"Dandy" Killingbeck
