We enter the last sixteen teams remaining in the event as they battle itout to become one of the last eight. Tonight's map de_train will test the tactics of the teams as much as it will require their instant and accurate aim to eliminate their opponents. Following closely behind cpl_mill, de_train is a favourite match map of mine because of the demanding tactics emaplyed to break through what often becomes a series of one on one battlesaccross the wdith of the map probing for an opening to shoehorn the team through and out into the open bombsites.

The second group of teams step up and take the opportunity to stake their claim to a berth in the second stage of this knockout section in the tournament. An extra match is on offer this evening bringing us up to a total of nine matches in all. Do not miss the scheduled QuadV coverage tonight (held over from Monday) which will feature all the latest scores, previews, comment and full rundown with special guest jai (fiveflow) and kird (ebuyer) along with Blizzard and Uzi (theSGL). This is one preview show you will not want to miss. Additionally tonight all matches are preseted via SRCtv the IP's for which you will find below. When tonights matches are concluded the cup overview will be updated with the scores for the matches that took place thisround and the fixtures for the last sixteen where the big boys will be battling it out for the title.

Tonight we come to the last four groups in this tournament, featuring some well known teams and some not so well known.

I'm getting more into the swing of things, and from the results of the last week I have a better frame of reference to preview the matches from.

Next week, when I also have SkillTracker™ stats to work from, we will have some more in-depth previews to the articles.

Some names you will know, and maybe some team names you might not know. The third match night of the Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme Challenge rolls into town tonight as another batch of would be qualifiers attempt to get through to the knockout stage the only way they know how - by eliminating the enemy. Matches kick off from 8pm and 9pm [UK] and featured matches will appear on QuadV as full commentary matches. For details on the matches see below.

After another night with heated exchanges of fire and skills of many different levels on display we bring to a close match night two of the Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme Challenge where another sixteen teams ventured forth into their opening group fixture all seeking to establish a three point foundation upon which to build their qualification hopes for the event.

The second night of match action in the Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme Challenge is upon us and from eight pm this evening the next sixteen teams who make up groups five through to eight will be engaging each other as they all seek to qualify from the group stages of this event and book their place as one of the last thirty two teams in the knockout stage.

The scores are in for the frist round of matches in the Intel® Core™ 2 Extreme Challenge. Groups one through four played their opening ties and the results, demos and SkillTracker™ player statistics are now available.
