I've just gotten home after yet another hectic weekend providing coverage for Cadred, I hope you've enjoyed the event from home.

Here are the final standings from the Counter-Strike: Source tournament at LAN79 in Bocapole, France.

Best of three single elimination may become the latest fad after this LAN, which has seen some of the best games in the history of Counter-Strike: Source, almost every match has had at least one 16-14 score in it, making games incredibly tense. Teams like Magnitude, aTTaX and Guns4hire have fallen on the wrong side of the tournament format, with early losses against opponents who simply outplayed them.

On request we have made a seperate news post for these final two games, to avoid the slowing down of browsers caused by the large number of comments in the previous fixtures post.
