As the name of this bind would suggest, it will toggle the visibility of your crosshair. This can be useful if you’re ever in need of taking in-game screenshots. It can also be a fun way to play in a private server with friends as you’ll have less to judge your aim off, which can lead to some very fun aim duels.
Having a bind for removing your crosshair is usually only required if you are recording videos of your game and so this is a relatively infrequently used command. It can also be interesting if you want to try and improve your aim in a deathmatch server without a crosshair, but this is not used very often.
This bind will toggle on the wall hack whenever “f2” is pressed. All that you have to do is enter it into your developer console and it will function immediately. If you don’t want to have to do this every time you play the game, then you can add this in to your config too.
bind f2 “toggle crosshair 0 1”
HOW IT WORKS
This key binding is very simple and is made up of two components. The first component binds f2 to the second command, which toggles the crosshair on and off. This corresponds to the two values that the command can be, 0 for invisible crosshair and 1 for visible crosshair.
